need engine advice
What's up guys? I have a 94 3.4L v6 and the engine has a lot of miles on it. I'm thinking about getting a used engine from craigslist or a salvage yard because I plan on selling it in a year for a v8. What's the biggest engine I could just plug in and play with? I just want as much hp as I can get until I sell this car and get a v8.

You might want to ask in the 4th gen forums.
My $.02 ... Engine swaps are pretty serious deals. Lots of work to do right.. If you want HP, why not just save yourself the money and go buy a V8 now? Then, You can drop cams in it relatively easily and inexpensivey and have gobs of power. If you can't afford the V8 yet, I'd be tempted to buy a $500 beater car for a year than soak money into a car you already know you don't want. --Steve

I've seen a lot of LQ9 engine swaps into the 4th gens. They're also not very expensive to buy at all. No idea what the work involved is but I've seen those and a big turbo on them a lot
