New 1LE in Vegas
Hello All,
This site has been amazing before and after my Camaro 1SS 1LE arrived!! I've had it just two weeks and I can't stop smiling or making up reasons to drive it!! I've done 3 things suggested on the site so far: 1. 5/20 fuse pull. Using Chevron 91 octane only. 2. Exhaust fuse pull. Sounds so mean!! 3. Ordered Adams complete car care kit. Super VRT for the hood. Any other suggestions or misses? |

I believe
Just in case the car received less than 91 octane this resets the Octane tables in the ECU so that the car will get max performance from the 91 Octane gas.

So if I pull that fuse and put it back in it won't throw check engine light?

Wasn't sure what the dealer had used so to be safe I pulled 5 and 20 let it sit over night to reset. |

So the super vrt is a cleaner for the hood?
What side of town you live in? I'm in the southwest with a 13 black 1le. |

What I did, and
Quote:
Also to Palabroward Adams Super Vrt is a protector not a cleaner. Great on outside vinyl surfaces. On the hood wrap there has been much debate about it's use. Super Vrt can also be used on almost all inside surface except the leather. I believe that used once or at most twice a year really protects the wrap. It will look a little shinier for about two weeks till the sun bakes off the access. In between I use Chemical guys Matte black finish, it works awesome and keeps it looking good. My 2.34567 cents Jim
