- Yes it dose.
- The only thing you can see is the line where it begins and ends, like a foot away maybe less depending on what time of day it is.
- Yes, ,look at the expel website for pricing and package options. I personally have the full upper and lower front end, side front fender bikini and the mirrors/door handle areas installed. Total costs was $936.00 with tax and took the installer 4.5 hours to complete.

Well worth the money and no paint chips to date (2k miles) also has a 7 year warranty against yellowing, bubbling and minor lacerations.

I had it put on mine one month ago. I did the full hood, extractor, full fender, full front bumper so I can't see lines and the texture matches that of the paint. I also did rockers, gills, behind rear tires, a pillars, mirrors, headlights and door cups.

It took 1-1/2 days as these were big pieces. Cost $2000.

I swear that I can literally hear the tires throwing stones at the side of the car but in my limited 325 miles, not problem. I don't even worry

Where in San Diego did you have the Expel installed?

Do NOT wait until you get rock chips and then have to ad touch up paint before you go and get one. That's what I did and if I had done the damn thing right away I wouldn't have the F'n chips in my paint.

On another note a chunk of 4x4 fell off a flat deck went under the car in front of me and exploded coming out the back under his car. I was blocked in and had nowhere to go. That clear bra saved my cars paint and I came away for the most part unscathed. It's good stuff.

All my vehicle have it. Good investment especially if you do a lot of highway driving.

The forum frowns on creating the same thread in multiple sections, just an fyi OP.

Mine cost around $800.

XPEL film.

Full bumper
Headlights
Mirrors
Rockers
Gill area
Behind rear wheels

10 year warranty on film and 6 month warranty on installation for me. Also was installed in my garage, didn't need to go anywhere

Sent from somewhere on the road.

I did it and love it. I had a 2011 SS and definitely had issues with chips and such. Strongly recommend it. Mine cost $550.

I put mine on in 2009, and it still works great. I have mine covering:

2 piece front bumper
leading edge of the hood
front quarter panels
A-Pillars
leading edge of the roof
mirror backs
headlights and front turn signals

I paid $235 for the film, that was pre-cut for my car. I saved the extra and installed it myself.

I highly, highly recommend you get it done as soon as possible so that your paint is perfect before it goes on. You can't get a better product out there right now and can't beat the 10 year warranty! Just over 4,000 miles on the car and not a single chip! All my car's have been done by the same kid and he did an outstanding job! All my friends have gone to him and all are really happy! Make sure to find the right person because it's really a tedious job to be done perfectly. Good luck!

I used Xpel Ultimate (self healing) at 60 miles.
I now have 12,500 miles on car with virtually no scratches, nicks
The lines are not visible unless you are really inspecting or
waxing the vehicle. I covered/protected:

* front end bumper, headlights
* entire hood and carbon fiber insert
* both front fenders (de-badged)
* both rear view mirrors
* both door edges and door cups
* both gills
* both panels behind rear tires

Cost was $1300 and well worth it imo.

Best money you'll ever spend for your car.
In my case I have the front facia, the mirrors and the gills covered in Avery Nanofusion (I believe) all for $900 and 16,000 miles later still no stone chips.

Yes it works......NO you can not see it

- Front bumper upper & lower
- All front lights (that is a must)
- Door cups
- Behind front fenders
- Lower rocker area up-2-first lower door crease
- Rear fender "gill" area
- Trunk opening area

Key is a good installer. Mine was done by a friend who does this for a living. He will also steam every crease on the car, around your wheel wells...basically so there is zero chance of dirt contamination. But get someone who does this for a job and not as a hobby.

...in-fact. This guy has a Lotus Elise with about 80K on it (2006), and has had clear since day1 and you would swear the car is brand new.
