I finally got the chance to try out my new products today. So here is my honest review of them.


APC concentrate 10/10?

The reason I put a question mark is because I haven't put it through anything too terrible yet. It easily got off my old tire dressing(6:1 dilution),cleaned my wheel wells(6:1 dilution)(it had been two weeks of DD), and it cleaned my dash after the tint shop left water spots everywhere when I got my windsheild tinted(14:1 dilution).

Handled all of that with ease so for everything I've used it for it gets the .

Tire Dressing & Conditioner 10/10!

So as a disclaimer to this portion. I prefer a shinier tire, not wet looking, but not satin either. This tire shine, when not cut with water, provides my preferred amount of shine. No sling when I let it dry for a couple of hours, and no runs or anything bad that I can associate with this tire shine. I haven't used this for trim yet, but I'm sure it will function just as well. I have no clue as to the durability of this stuff yet, but it would take an amazing product for me to not just reapply once every two weeks. I personally like the approach of this tire shine better. Providing higher gloss and allowing people that want less to just cut it with water, instead of making people who want more gloss to have to apply multiple coats allowing each to dry.

Extreme Suds Balanced Wash 9/10

I really do like this soap. Great lubricity, and provides a lot of suds. I feel that this soap is more of a "you can't go wrong with it" soap. It does above average in the bucket, and it also does above average in the foam gun.

My car was extremely filthy when I washed it today. I parked my car, stupidly, in an area around my gym that had construction going on, so it got covered in clay dust and then it rained. So my car was the worst it has been in a long time. The soap when used in the bucket and the gun put no scratches into the paint that I can see, so bravo for that.

With that said, I still prefer AMMO foam paint cleanser in my bucket. It glides ride off of the paint, and leaves almost not suds behind making rinsing a breeze.

I also don't think you can go wrong with this soap in a foam gun(I do not have a foam cannon so I don't know how it would do with one), but I feel as though Adams soap clings to the paint better. Again there is nothing at all bad about this soap, it is just what I have noticed so far, if my opinion changes I will definitely come back and say so.

Polymer Detail Spray 11/10

My personal favorite product out of the ones I received. Just amazing in every way.

I purposefully allowed water to dry on my trunk lid, and my house has some pretty bad hard water. This detail spray took every single spot of with ease. Honestly, much easier than Adams detail spray. I may be drinking the kool-aid, but that's my honest opinion.

I like the light blue color that it is, it doesn't stain my dry me crazy towel like Adams spray does. I know that I can just cut down the amount of detail spray which I did, but this stuff allows me to use more and not stain my towel.

I saw a review from another person stating that this product took extra buffing to get off, I do not feel that way. It takes just about the same effort to buff off as adams(I keep comapiring to Adams because it was my previous favorite). It is also a polymer detail spray, making it have a higher amount of protective properties than a carnauba based detail spray.

The smell.... It literally smells like I am detailing my car at the beach, right outside of the SCG HQ. I don't base my product purchases on smell, but this could almost make me do it.

Just one tip Dylan, put this scent into air fresheners for car and sell them.


All in all, I feel as though these products are very well suited for most people. The tire conditioner and detail spray are now my two favorite products in their respective categories. APC will be a highly regarded product, but unless it outperforms Megs d103 in harder tasks, that will be the one I prefer because of cost. The soap is great, I will probably always prefer AMMO in my bucket, but it may grow on me more in the foam gun. I guess we will just have to see.

EDIT: here is a picture of my car! Notice the tire shine and clean wheel wells. Obviously you can see the the soap and detail spray did it's job as well.

Just one note - the Tire Dressing & Conditioner is primarily designed with tires in mind, not so much trim. We have our Exterior Trim Conditioner which is suited a tad better to plastics as well as rubber and has a lower gloss than the tire product.

Nothing wrong with using either one interchangeably depending on your preference, but there is a difference if you're looking for one.

Have corrected the name in my review. I must just be insane thinking that it said trim on the bottle.

Another note that may be a completely irrelevant thing.

The gallon sized bottles have the handle on the top. Have you thought about putting a handle on the back of the jug aswell? This would make it easier to pour with one hand. Again a tiny thing, just an observation of mine.

Honestly I love completely clear bottles. Looks way better and I can associate the smell with the color of the chemical.

Theres a good reason we didn't use clear though -

In plastics for this use you have essentially 2 types: HDPE and PET

PET is the crystal clear plastic type... problem is its not chemical resistant when it comes to certain products. Heavy cleaners and highly concentrated chemicals will make the plastic brittle and susceptible to cracking/leaking. I'm sure you've seen threads about the mysteriously disappearing products where someone finds half their interior cleaner on the floor.

HDPE is highly chemical resistant, pretty much nothing in the detail world will harm HDPE or cause it to leak - problem is its not a crystal clear material - the closest you can get is something that resembles the semi-transparent plastic similar to a milk jug. The finish is called natural.

We looked at these same bottles in natural HDPE finish, but it just didn't look right. The black was a much better looking setup and we thought our customers would agree.

I think once we get the window running down the spine so you can see the levels you'll get a feel for the color as well as how much you have left

This was my assumption. As well as it looks clean and refined. I like the bottles and I LOVE the oil type slit idea.

I might be wrong but I would imagine that this would make the cleaners much less susceptible to sunlight changing any chemical properties.

Yes... another benefit is we don't have to worry so much about UV stability... no faded glass cleaner, white detail spray, or dirty dishwater colored products

Well,I can say that the Tire Conditioner holds up very well!! I've had it on for 14 days now. Here its been sunny and hot some days,rainy others. The tires still look really good!!
Its pouring like crazy today,but tomorrow she gets a bath and I get to try out the Hydo- Seal.

You'll love Hydro... its a toss up between that and Polymer Detail Spray as to which has been the most popular product so far.
