Swapping 4 Pack Gauge Cluster - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have a 2010 SS and my wife has a 2010 RS. My Camaro just has the little flat storage din ,She has the gauges. I would rather have the gauges and she would rather have the din. I have done some research and seems to be an easy swap but cant find a solid answer on wiring. My question is do I need a plug n play cable or is hers able to come out and just swap everything with out purchasing anything else? Thanks in advance for any help!

Is her car a SS? Do they have the same transmissions?

No hers is a V6 RS . And mine is l99 SS. But hers also has 6 speed tiptronic trans. Not sure if it is the exact same trans though.

Ok, thanks for checking, I sent gen5diy a message too so we will see. Its not that big of a project so Ill probably just pop it apart and check it out. Just thought I might be able to find an answer before I tore into it.

I was recently looking into this as well. 3 part #'s (1:V6&V8 Auto, 2:V6 manual, and 3:V8 manual). So from what I see it should swap out.
