Hopeful New 1LE owner!!
So I will hopefully be getting a white 1LE a week from now, as long as the deal doesn't fall through. Im working with a dealership 3hrs from me. So far everything with the dealer has gone great. I will be coming from a 2011 Subaru STI Sedan. There are multiple reasons for making the jump but the main one is I really don't want an engine thats being ran on the ragged edge anymore. I'll let you know for sure if the deal goes through and I'll post pics.
Here are the features: SS w2SS RS Package NPP(dual mode exhaust) Sunroof NAV Let me know if any of you have made a similar jump. |

Ok so this has been a roller coaster ride form hell. wont get into details but its still a go to get it on saturday. Needless to say the new dealership I am working with is wonderful!!!
Also how much stiffer is the 1LE vs. regular SS? Haven't driven or rode in one yet only the SS. |

Good luck with everything!!! In terms of stiffness, I didn't drive a SS to compare. What I can say is, that when you see the 1LE post, only a couple of people complained about the ride. IMO, the Camaro was not made for them. 99.99999% of people with the 1LE comment on how well the car drives, considering it's capabilities. For some people, the tires may be an issue in cold weather. My car is a DD and I love the way it drives!!

The main thing coming from an STI will be you will have more power going to your rear wheels. Also, the tires are VERY slippery when temps are below about 60 degrees. Always get some miles in them first before you flog it unless you like driving sideways. Once they are warmed up though it will be tougher to brake traction but can be done easily. Other than that have fun! And welcome to the club! Post pics when you take delivery.
