Unless you plan on building a bottom swapping FI really makes no sense since you'll be limited on max power. Why do the switch and spend more money for basically the same power? Your choice of course. I got both my alky kits from Julio directly.

What do you mean by building a bottom? I guess im just a little unsatisfied with my supercharger right now, i did alot with it and not getting the results that i was looking for. I literally got beat by my friends 2014 mustang 5.0 stock. Something gots to be wrong. Just be doing some reading on the agp turbos that are stock bottom ends auto that are pushing over 600rwhp. Im just looking into it, might not even happen. Thats why im still looking in the the alky and the rdp spacer.

Do a forged motor.

Get with Hendrix or RDS and they will help you. Hell, I went 9's with a stock cubed, Maggied l99. They work when you know what to do.

There are a lot of factors to consider here... When you literally got beat by your friends 5.0 were you at the drag strip or street racing? Is he also an auto? You need to be careful basing things off of roll racing. A lot of times the faster car can get beat from a roll... especially if one is an auto and out of their RPM range and the other a manual at his sweet spot. I’m pretty sure you are subscribed to my Youtube page. Check out the video where I race my buddy’s 2014 slightly modded GTR. We went from a roll and I was right there and even pulled away a bit. Does that mean I’m faster... Heck no... That car would kill me at the strip. I just happened to be at an advantage the time we went off the roll at that specific speed. If you lost to him at the strip your biggest enemy here is your traction. I think you need at least a DR and maybe a stall converter. I agree with the other poster... Supercharged or turbocharged, the bottom end of your motor is going to hit a max limit. I don't think your supercharger is the problem here. You have a lot of time into your current set up. There are plenty on the forum with L99’s and TVS2300’s going fast. I think you just need to make a few minor adjustments.

My buddy has a modded new 5.0 with a drag tire setup and other bolt ons his is a manual but when he doesn't have the nitrous on its no competition I beat it everytime with him on the 75 shot it's very close I would once over your set up and make sure all is good a Maggie can make 600 with out to much a blower cam with a Maggie 650 is a easy target to hit nothing against twin turbos they do perform but be sure u are getting max potential before u give up on the Maggie

Yeah we were street racing, and he is an auto with 100 shot of nos, forgot to mention that ha ha. But we were both using our paddle shifters to bring up our rpms. Yeah i did see your post with the gtr, nice run. Yeah at the strip he probably would beat as well, he is running faster times than me as well, i think i need to focus on a wider tire and maybe get some 18s.

Well, nitrous can make a huge difference too. Where your car may be fighting the outside temps and humidity he does not need to worry. I find with the heat and humidity here in Michigan, my car feels like its down 100 HP some days. I'm sure that's an exaggeration, but you get my point. You might want to consider the meth then. That can help make your performance more repeatable. I was going to ask. You recently went with the 3.6 pulley... right? If so, did you upgrade your fuel pump? I am going to be changing my pulley soon and my tuner said I should not need to based on my current number for my fuel, but everyone on here seems to be going with the ZL1 pump. He has also done the 3.6 pulley on a couple guys cars I know and they too stayed with the stock pump and injectors that came with the maggy.
