i just talked to a dealer and was trying to get info about whether or not they had any allocations. the salesmen told me that the man who handles that is out today. but he told me "as long as we put an order in and it's a sold order, it will be picked up right away. the allocations are just for what we order to have on the lot." HUH? this is not how i have heard it or i guess not how i have understood it. is this salesman smoking crank???

so my question that i was going to ask him but got a crazy answer for is....if i order today, and you have an allocation, how soon could i expect delivery of my car?

8 to 10 weeks assuming immediate allocation and no long hold in QC(quality control). And yes what that salesman said was not true and he is indeed an idiot.

LOL! i thought so. i tried correcting him but he was certain he would know better than me. he also told me it would take about 6 weeks for delivery. he's the 2nd dealer in that has told me that! i want to get it before october (in a perfect world lol) so 6 weeks would be perfect!

thank you!!! i'm really excited but i'm also really stressed. not sure EXACTLY when i'll be able to order but i want to do it soon so that i can get it before it starts getting too cold out!

I ordered at 2pm and was at 3000 the next morning. Becky is very straight forward. You're much closer than I am. She does not charge over msrp!

There are also several dealers with camaros on the lot. Search the threads, maybe you find the one you want. Don't pay over msrp and always ask for your discounts if you qualify.
