June 2nd PIR track day

I know it's short notice but I am going to a track day at Portland International Raceway on June 2nd, one week from today. This will be my first time out with the Camaro so i am looking forward to it. If there are any other locals that are interested it would be great to see other Camaros out there. So far they are not filled and do not expect to be filled. This means lots of track time and not lots of traffic. Come out and have some fun.

This day is being run by the BMW club of Portland.

I want to run PIR bad but don't think I'm going to make it down there this year. How much is the entry fee? If your up for travel you should join me at a Spokane track event sometime. I'm also trying to make it to Oregon Raceway Park on sept, 21 if your up for that.

I do plan on hitting Ore Raceway Park sometime this summer. For me, the first time out with the Camaro would best be at PIR as it is the one track I am familiar with so it will be the easiest transition from my MINI to the Camaro. I also want to try The ridge Motorsports Park sometime.

Let me know when you plan on hitting up ORP. I'll most likely be there sept 21 but if theres another event and its cheaper than $325 I'll see if I can make it to that one instead.

I saw on the signup web site, one other Camaro (2012 I think) that's confirmed. I just got back from the beach (wife duty) and still have to do the last look over in prep for tomorrow. I also will swap over to the Goodyear set as I don't want to abuse the PSS tire setup that I put on for the cold and wet weather. The GY's have less than 1000 miles so this will be a great way to catch them up to the PSS's as to tread life. Can't wait for tomorrow.
