Fuel rail pressure..wtf..this popped up today..has anybody had this issue..im suppose to take it to the dealership but you know how they can get..Im hoping that someone responds and says yes I have and filled up the tank with good gas, reset the computer some fuel cleaner and the shit went away......

Have not heard of this, may be just an isolated thing.

Do you ever run fuel injector cleaner?

I didn't either until mine popped up and googled. It. Alot of people have had this. The engine power reduced alert is gone but the cel is still on...never tried the injector cleaner.. what kind ??? Ima fill up the tank with good gas
And some cleaner and see what happens. . Got 38000 miles on the car

If that's an LS like it says under your avi be real careful if you wanna try to fix it yourself.
Direct fuel injection = lots and lots of fuel pressure.

if you dont have proper scan tools you wont even know what fuel pressure is at.

It is. An Ls... I put in some seafoam injection cleaner and 89 octane (my usual) shell gas in and it drives normal, but the cel is still on... hope it drops off. After a few. Cycles...it started driving better as soon as the reduced engine power went off yesterday. .so hopefully with the stuff I did today it will clear up.

Two days later..no cel...YES!!!!!
dont know what happened or what fixed it the seafoam or the new gas..but im hearing the lfx which is direct injection can really benefit.
