Do these start once your GM warranty expires, or do they start right away?

edit: Do you have a link to the fine print of what is covered/not-covered? I can't find it on their website. If they don't have it on their website can you ask the salesman for a copy of it and post the link to it?

1st of all your 100% covered 3 Years/60000KM....5yr / 160000km
I took the 60000KM / 5yr and it was over within 3 years...you'll never know how much mileage you will do...IMO. I lost $2500 for nothing..

OK, because my question is - what is covered by the interior and paint warranty. What's the process of getting a seat cover replaced.

Also - the car comes with a 10 year / 100,000 mile rust warranty already.

I've had 22 new GM cars and truck including Vettes and a Caddy ..... I never bought the extended after the 1 st 2 ...SAVE YOUR MONEY.....you can extend the base at 35,999 MILES when you know if you really need it.

I ended up snagging the extended Powertrain warranty, because it pushed me into the top interest bracket with the bank I was getting my loan from-

Getting my warranty extended took $10 off the cost of my payments, because despite the increased base cost, the interest rate was dropped.

So that worked out pretty well.
