Looks like to me the car is in the last spot...and all the way at the edge of that spot as far away as it can get from other cars.
Nothing wrong with that at all.

Yea the other guy in the black car (or maybe it could of been a woman, hehe) was parked in the last space. No harm no foul parking at the extreme edge. Can't blame people because parking spaces are obviously too small if people have to constantly worry about door dings. Proper sized spaces you should be able to open your door all the way without touching the vehicle next to you and then the parking aggravation would be solved.

Parking threads and Recall's, that is what we have in common! There are no lines and plenty of space where I work. I like angles, it is easier for me to back out! Back to OP, I would park next to any car like that anytime. IMO, they are less likely to hit your car.
