Question about paint
Recently had some jerk decide to go and key my car. Keyed it all along the passanger quater panel and onto the door as well. Don't plan on actually shooting the paint myself but thought about getting all the prep work done. Need to know if there is a certain kind of primer i should use due to the fact the fender is fiberglass.

Wow that really stinks, why can't people be more respectful of others property.
The difference between a really nice paint job and a great paint job is in the prep. I'd recommend finding a high quality shop and letting them do the whole job. Even if your prep work is perfect when the paint work is complete and if your not happy there would be a good chance of the painter blaming it on the work they didn't do. If one shop does all the work you have one shop to hold accountable for the quality of the work. A good shop will be able to make it as good or better than new. Hope it all works out for you. Rick |
