Pre-Order Option Questions - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey Guys...new to the forum...but not to Camaros...have owned my 1967 since 1987..and had few in between. Getting prepared to order a 2015 1LE...was waiting for the "new" Blue...but not so thrilled with the shade now that I have seen a color sample here on the forum...so leaning towards Red Hot. Anyhow I have a couple of option questions I was hoping to get some clarification on:

- Recaro Seats - they are not heated, right?
- RS option - does not seem too appealing on the 1LE as the total cost really only gets you the Halo Fronts/LED Rears since the 1LE already has a wheel change. Can the lights be purchased separately elsewhere?

You can purchase the LEDs aftermarket but they will cost more aftermarket. Get it from the factory, it will be cheaper, plus you get to retain the value. If you sell a non rs car with RS LEDs it won't have the same value as a RS car. Plus the roof ditch moldings and shark fin antenna get painted with the RS package.

Recaros are heated on 2SS.

I had to have my 2ss built because I didn't want the RS package (not a fan of the chrome strip & I bought the OEM ZL1 wheels/tires) plus I opted for the Recaro seats. Let me tell you, THEY ARE AWESOME!! I'm 6'2" and 325 & I fit comfortably. Not gonna lie though, I was a little worried because I couldn't find a Camaro local to me with the Recaros to try. It worked out in the end and I can't see how anyone decides not to go with these awesome seats. With the ZL1 wheels/tires and those seats, cornering is a DREAM. Do yourself a favor and order them
