Going from a 12 to a 14

I recently decided to trade in my current 2012 1LT RS with an auto start package as well as a convenience and comfort package. I enjoyed the great features, but I decided to get a new Camaro that is a 2LT RS. This one that I found is just perfect with its black exterior and inferno orange interior. Its a RS and a lot of features come standard on the 2LT like auto start and a HUD which is great. The only problem is that I can't get the car because of the recall. GM needs to hurry up with these keys, because the longer I can't trade in my 12 the lower the value of it goes down.

Obviously he does not want an SS.....

XRedsox,
If you haven't made a deal yet go ahead and do it, they will either take your car and give you a loaner until they can release the car you bought or they should honor the trade in quote you agreed upon.

MPG between v6 vs v8 is not a big difference. Maybe a few cents at most. I know, owned both.

Still wondering how getting an SS is a downgrade?

The reason I can't give them my car is because the 2LT that I picked out is at another dealership and the one I go to has already locked it down. Now I guess for some reason they won't accept the trade because the car isn't on the dealership.

And I would love a SS, but if I am going to get one I am going to like some nice features on it than just a V8. I don't really like the standard headlights.

I once drove a V6. I now drive a V8. The mpg difference is substantial. Don't go by advertised numbers. Look at your real driving behavior. You know what you're going to do with your car.
