Powertrain Warranty

Possibly a dumb question. How do I know when my powertrain warranty expires if I bought my camaro used from a dealer? I'm TDY at the moment so I cannot look at the paperwork. I do not recall seeing any information on the factory powertrain warranty. I only remember the CPO bumper-to-bumper. I believe it is from the orginal sale date and is transferable..? Is there a way to look online for the expiration?

Thank you.

Jake

You can call the dealer you bought from and they can research who your warranty is through. Then you call them and verify dates and expiration miles. For factory powertrain, call the gm dealership, and it's 36k bumper to bumper and 100k for powertrain.

sign up with your VIN on my.chevrolet.com ... then there's a tab that breaks down and lists the warranties. Your powertrain warranty should be 5yrs. so you still have it. Mine's a 2010 and it expired in June '14

Any dealer should be able to tell you.

Thanks for the replies. Hopefully sooner than later so that I can convince the wife to allow modding to begin.
