Quick question on CAI Install....
Hey guys, I just got my intake in the mail today and gonna install it in a few hours. Is it necessary to remove the positive cable on the battery beforehand or not?

it is wise to since you have to move the MAF sensor, it is in the directions for a reason. also your car will adjust to the intake quicker.

Yes you need to do it, for the safety of you, the electronics on your vehicle, and also so the computer can adjust to the new readings from the MAF with the CAI.
Also you remove the negative, not the positive. You never remove or install a positive on a battery without first making sure the negative is dis-connected. |

You'll need to reset your time/date and radio settings back to the way they were. Mine got all funky when I disconnected mine.
