I still like the car...but I would like to sell

I know it was silly to buy a car and change my mind.

I had one dealer offer 64k and another that I bought the car from 64.5k sight unseen.

I think a dealer would go 65k easy.

Should I hold out for 67k private sale ?

1000 mile car. Never tracked. Autocrossed twice.
If you are interested and in Florida---pm me.

Thanks. Black 2014 #27 with a/c (I am not that crazy to have the car without Ac)

If you're trying to sell a new Z28 private sale I doubt you will get as much. People who want the Z28 want a brand new one

to be more clear, you might get that much private but you'd be waiting a while.

good luck on sale but I have to agree if I am spending that much on a car rather spend extra for new

If you are going to sell it, now is the time. They still haven't delivered all the cars they made. Few dealers actually have one available, and many are marked way up. GM ended the 0% for the Camaro, so this might be your best time. Unless Florida is flooded with units at MSRP, somebody who wants a Z/28 might pay MSRP for a slightly used unit.

Things will change when they actually deliver the 2014 Z/28's they've already built and 2015's are on the lots. 2015 Z/28's are sitting around right now, somewhere, collecting dust.

I would think that you would have an easy time selling at that price. Dealers most dealers want way over MSRP.

Gm has ended the 0% for the Camaro ?

But is there still the $2000 rebate available ?

Thanks

The 0% for Camaros ended in my zipcode, can't say what other zipcodes are. The only 0% here is the Silverado special edition. There is a $2000 rebate nationwide AFAIK on 2014's, all models.

You can imagine how happy I am that GM decided to let the Z/28 I ordered sit for 6 weeks and counting (if you count the production hiccup, if it really was a hiccup, make that 10 weeks from target build date). I'm tempted to let it sit at the dealership until the 0% is offered again. That's like $10k cash if you're getting 6% on your investments.

I no longer have doubts that GM is purposely holding deliveries on built Z/28's. I think this will come back to bite them.

Most definitely the case. It was a huge leap of faith to make this car the most expensive Camaro by five figures over a loaded ZL1 with all the creature comforts. That doesn't mean they aren't bad azz, and won't sell every one but clearly it's a tactical move till inventory is exhausted on 14's.. which sucks for those who are waiting. Remember the " orphan cars" that sat at the ports/railyards during the recession because dealers couldn't move the one's in inventory? Same deal on a much smaller scale, flooring charges start when they hit the lot, not at the mfg.

I am unlikely to order a Chevrolet again. This is the second time they halted delivery of a Camaro I ordered.

I ordered a 2002 SS with Y2Y content 1LE manual hardtop, etc. Specifically for ESP class autoX. We never did get an answer about what happened to that car. Several weeks past it's build date, we just bought a Z06 instead.

I'm perhaps in the same position today.

It shouldn't be very hard to find another Z28 that's sitting on the ground at another dealer. Why didn't you just tell your current dealer that the time frame is ridiculous and get your deposit back (if you placed one), then purchase your vehicle elsewhere?
