GFX Install Progress

Cars been at the dealership since Monday evening. Went by there today after work to check on the car. Everything is on but the front piece. This is the first install for the dealership and today the Tech installing the package had to leave at noon due to an emergency. Apparently his mom is really sick and has been for a long time. I guess she is pretty old too. Anyway I told them "No rush" and hopefully everything works out with the techs mom.

The car was still on the lift so I did a quick walk around. Overall it looks pretty good but I noticed that the exhaust pipes weren't cut according to the instructions. When installing the GFX, approximately 3 inches of the tail pipe needs to be removed. The tail pipes are up tight against the top portion of the metal rectangle exhaust port. I think if left that way they will rattle like crazy. I brought the service manager out and showed him in the instructions that the tailpipes need to be cut. Anyway, it looks like they are going to have to remove my exhaust to get it cut correctly. I feel pretty bad about the techs mom an all but I sure hope they don't mess up the install. I hope I don't sound cold, but I have a lot of money in this painted GFX kit and I want it as perfect as possible.

I'm constantly worrying about this car and my wife thinks I'm crazy. I don't know, maybe I am. It's so bad I'm having trouble sleeping at night because it's not in my garage. This car is just so damn awesome....I think I will try a good strong nightcap before bed. That should help. Thanks for listening...
