ZL1 Forgeline GA3R's ZL1
I'm about to purchase some GA3R's for my Z but want to iron out the offset and fitment before dropping the dough.
How does this look: FRONT: 20x10 +10 (Hankook Ventus R-S3 285/35ZR20) OFFSET: I know the offset for the for the OEM wheel is +23. What is the lowest offset we can get the fronts while clearing the Brembos? REAR: 20x11.5 +20 (Hankook Ventus R-S3 305/35ZR20) OFFSET: I know the offset for the for the OEM wheel is +43. What is the lowest offset we can get the rears while clearing the Brembos? I'm really not satisfied with most wheel setups on other Z's as their offset does please my aggressiveness in regards to a concave look rather than convex. |

Clearing the calipers depends on the wheel design. Also you are moving the wheel further out at 10 vs 23 so there should be no caliper issues but you will have the wheel outside of the fenders at that offset.

Those offsets and widths will stick out for sure. I think unless you run the Z28 style fender flares it will not look good. IMHO...

You are in NineBall's back yard. If you are going to drop that much on custom wheels give him a call and tell him what you want. He can then dial in the offsets and you will get exactly what you want!

Yeah Nineball...DV8 motoring is the man when it comes to Forgeline fitments.
I can't remember my specs exactly, been a couple years, but my wheels fit PERFECT. This is not something to guess at giving the amount of money at stake. Quality is not cheap and it shows even after almost 3 years, they still look new

Or just go to the Source, David @Forgeline, who knows his stuff too and is great to talk/work with.
Not taking ANYTHING away from Tony @ DV8 who is also an excellent example of a human being. He just happens to be on vacation but will be back this coming week. T.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same. Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different. I can't wait for my next Track fix.
