AGP TURBO- Rubbing on decel

Hey guys

I have the AGP TT kit and no cold air intake.
Does have meth injection tho.

So here's the problem- I have a "rubbing" noise with the
throttle closed, but with the throttle open (5-100%) the noise is gone

This is my first turbo car and I can't rememeber if it made this noise after install

Just driving this like this can't be right. Is this a mechanical problem it tuning?

Do you get the noise when the car is at idle or is it when the turbos are providing boost and then you close the throttle? If it is the latter it may be the sound of boost pressure releasing through the blow off valve. When the throttle closes quickly and there is boost in the intake tube it must be released through the blow off or it would back up the turbos.

I understand what you are saying.

Unfourtianetly it is at without boost pressure.
It may also happen under boost- can't say I have been
under pressure and realising the throttle. Wastegate springs
are set at 8-10 psi- or in that range anyways.

Really hard to trouble shoot a noise online. Get under and check to make sure everything is tight. There should be no "rubbing". It could be air filter noise, the BOV, or just the way the turbos sound.

Just got to try to find where the noise is coming from and loosen something, move it and re-tighten.

I'll get the car in the air and run through some gears to see if I can pin point a location.

Could it be with the tune?

Tune doesn't cause parts to rub. Without knowing what exactly the sound is, it is really hard to say.

Mine had a slight rub on the driver's side on day 1.The adapter from the manifold to the turbo was very close to the heat shield.

My rubs also kinda sucks. It's the driver side also. I get a rattle upon letting out of the clutch too I have not found yet. Think it's the heat shield on the manifold rattling.

That is just part of the install, adjusting it for clearance. I've seen plenty of them installed and never had any rubbing issues. Just get under the car, and adjust it.
