Tore the axle shaft boot, now what?

Saw some grease on the inside of my rear wheel. Upon investigation it looks like a plastic collar from my LSR end links was rubbing on the axle shaft outer rubber boot. The boot is torn and spewing grease. My question is can I just replace the boot and somehow repack the bearing with grease or do I need replace the axle. If I need to replace the axle, will the stronger 1LE axles bolt right into the stock differential and wheel hub?

Thanks for the help.
