ZL1 FRONT END POSER?
Are you still considered a poser if you have ZL1 wheels, front, skirts and spoiler but with SS logos and more power then a ZL1.
Do i have wait to put on the bumper until after i have a blower??? Or can i do what ever i want?? |

I have a ZL1 front end and will be installing ZL1 rockers shortly on my SS.
The difference is that I do not have any SS or ZL1 badges on the car. It's your car, do what you want.

And you got the one with the mailslot!! F***in Autosource.
I was the first person to get the their regular ZL1 bumper to install my own mailslot because they told me that version was NOT going into production. |

When asked, I won't tell anyone where I got it from. I'm glad they're not making any more.

Watch out the mattress police have been given jurisdiction on improperly badged automobiles.

It ain't posing until you choose to start throwing ZL1 badges on it and you KNOW that your misrepresenting. But you can always do what you want.
For instance, 01pewter's car has ZL1 parts on it, but there's not a ZL1 badge put on there by him, thus, it ain't posing. Unless he's running around saying it's a ZL1, then that would be posing. Now, he does have ZL1 on the underside of his hood, but it's part of the hood stamping and there's not much can be done about that. Same as if he had the bright 5-spokes with the molded in ZL1. Those two instances you can't really get around. I would even say that you could get away with the ZL1 (2nd style) dash trim that has the ZL1 sealed in and if you got ZL1 Recaros since those are sewn in. If it's simply putting ZL1 parts on a car says it's posing, then GM are posers too, with the ZL1 spoilers they put on the Hot Wheels cars (as well as grille and side rockers) and the Spring edition spoilers, to name a couple. Just know this, that if you "upbadge" your car, you're doing it to misrepresent, therefore you will be called out for posing. If you don't care, then that's OK. But you will be called out anyway.

The ZL1 is just sexy. The best looking one of the camaros. Wheels will be next.

In my view if you have no ZL1 badges then you are ok. ZL1 badges takes it to a whole different level.

OP - Never bother asking that question because some people will say yes no matter what. If the ZL1 looks is what you like then do it and forget what anyone else thinks.
