So I got the call today that everyone on this site goes crazy waiting for. However my call also included the news that the side mirrors were broken off in transit.

Now I know I've seen post about this before but cannot for the life of me find them using the search feature.

Who else has had this happen? And how long did it take for a dealer to receive the parts to replace and repair?

If both mirrors were broken I'd think it was vandalism.

Oh man that sucks. Hopefully the dealer can repair and you won't know the difference.

Last night I picked up my SS...and I was holding my breath. Luckily, it was perfect.

mine showed up with a big chip in edge of drivers door up high.

dealer sent over some touch up paint.

disgruntled, i airbrushed in the touch up, and mixed some of the paint with a bottle of the wifes clear nail polish.
now the wife and daughter have Aqua Camaro nail polish to match.

to properly fix the chip, is more invasive to the car, than the chip itself. bummer.

Anyone picking up their car, are you going over the check list of problem, how many are sticking to checking every item on list and what else do you check?

Ahhhhh Nez so sorry to here that you of all people should not have had this happen to you , all the help you give everyone on hear and to have this happen , should be a law against it sheesh , so sorry dude , but Grats on getting it in at least

I've read that this has happened to a few others. I'm sure it's vandals. It just sucks knowing your car has been violated like that. Mine was deliversd with a door ding.

I hope you get your Camaro fixed quickly. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

Mine is in transit by rail and I'm crossing my fingers that it will arrive in good shape.

It is uncomprehensible that this sort of thing is happening as frequently as they are. I wonder if the loaders/unloaders are getting careless as a result of working under crunch times. I guess I have been fortunate, mine arrived without any cosmetic damage.
