Which brand has the best quality wheels?
Hi, I just paid off my car and looking to buy new wheels. I'm looking for 5 spoke deep concave rims. But there are several manufacturers who make similar wheels. So I'm asking your opinion which brand makes the best quality wheels. Right now I have stock 19's on my camaro, so any of these wheels would be an upgrade for me and I would be happy having any of them on my car. But I don't want a broken rim when I hit the first pothole. So from your experience, please share your thoughts on which wheels are the best in quality?
Thanks P.S.The deeper concave - the better I'm going to put 20x9 front and 20x10 rear.

they are all great quality rims from what ive seen and had on other cars in the past. the vossen and stance IMO stand in a class of their own on that list, with the niche and rohana coming in next and the other 2 come in last again IMO doesnt mean either of them is a bad wheel so to speak.

Quality is important, but I think customer service and response is a better measure.
Wheels will always have defects, find a company that has a good warranty and doesnt try to get out of it if the time comes. My vote would be Niche/Vossen. TSW are very nice, but not as concave IMO.

I just checked forgeline wheel prices. With my budget I can afford just one wheel. Unfortunately my camaro needs 4 of them

I am in the middle of getting Vossens, but I would also add Forgestar to the list. Forgestar and some TSW wheels are flow formed, as well as the new VFS series from Vossen (stronger/lighter than pressure cast wheels). My F14s have held up well over 5 years.

My stance sc5s have been fine but from the list I'd think tsw and niche have be the better quality of the bunch. I've been hearing of a lot of issues on vossen lately (know a guy who runs a wheel repair shop) but they're also one of the more popular wheels so there's more out there. I agree about forgestars if you can afford the extra few dollars. Cf5s are nice. I personally, plan to move on to forgeline... But they are on a different price level

I just found these TSW Sochi wheels, which came out in 2014. They are rotary forged and in my price range. There is an option 20x10,5 for rears. They look similar to vossend cv3. I just couldn't find any camaros with them in gunmetal finish. Do any of forum sponsors sell these?

I second this. You asked who has the best quality.
Second place would be CCW. T.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same. Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different. I can't wait for my next Track fix. I would recommend them all.
It really comes into what style finish and price range your looking into. I carry every wheel line mentioned in this thread so from experience their all great. I would be more than happy to help anyone out and hook them up with awesome pricing. Also Look into the RC22 wheels they are great and also come in a 20x11 fitment as well. |

And HRE and ADV1 above those. I think he has a price range to stay within.

There's a lot to consider, but given the wheels you posted about in the poll, you may want to look into Forgestar as well, they'll make really nice and strong wheels for a good price, a lot lower than some of the companies you're already looking at.

So right now my nr1 option is tsw sochi wheels. Forgestar cf5 is worth to consider but they are slightly different. I was also looking at avant garde m550's. Does anyone have these? Do they require spacers? How about the quality? Thanks

I was looking hard at the Sochi wheels recently too, but didn't like the flat look of the 9" wheel up front. I ended up getting Factory Reproduction style 41's as their 9" has a nice concave look to it. A friend of mine, has an IOM color as well, has the RC22's in 9" front and 11" rear and his car looks great with them.
