stranded in the rail yard
My IOM 2SS/RS has been sitting in a railyard sence thursday. The rail yard is in Proviso ill. anyone else had there car stuck in the railyard and how long?

i'm in the same railyard getting switch to a union pacific headed for janesville, wi. Says it will be there 8/16 @ 12:20am. Janesville is also my "industry" destination, so thats where my car will be offloaded and trucked to Iowa I guess.
seems a long time to sit in Proviso, but probably normal...thats a HUGE railyard.

Well at least you made it to the states. My car is stuck just 40 mins from Oshawa in Toronto and has been since wednesday.

My car sat in East Brookfield for 8 days, 45 miles from the dealership. Seemed like a lifetime!

At this point I'd prefer to take delivery after 9/1 because of the convoluted tax structure in my state and some other issues. Can I tell the dealer to sit on the car till I'm ready for it?

I've been sitting in interchange in Buffalo, NY switching from the CN railroad to CSX since 3AM Friday... Hopefully it continues moving any moment now!!!

Same boat here stuck in Newark NJ sine the 8th estimated delivery to dealer was to be the 13th....alas that came and went hoping for monday or tuesday.
