Questions about instaling a subwoofer in the trunk of my camaro
I really would like to put a few subwoofers in the trunk of my camaro, anywhere from 2-3.
I've looked online and there's so many different brands and products I just don't know which one to buy. I was hoping someone on these forums have some advice when it comes to adding a few subwoofers. I want it to look something like this! Any advice or help would be great! (price isn't a issue I want the best I can get) Last edited by Battlezone580; 09-03-2014 at 09:53 PM. |

http://www.bostonacoustics.com/US/Pr...ostonAcoustics) Does anyone know if I would need a AMP? I see a lot of people saying they need a AMP to handle the Subs. Last edited by Battlezone580; 09-01-2014 at 10:02 PM. |

I'm laughing so hard, what are you going to power them with if you don't have an amp? Your mind!? Yes you will need a 400 Watt rms 2 ohm load amp.
Basically you want your amp to be no more than 400 Watt rms at 2 ohms. I like mono block class D amps.

SO I saw you're getting rockford! That's good! I've actually got some slightly used stuff for sale if you want to save some money, used for less than 6 months, bought an all alpine setup because the deal was too good to pass uP!
http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/ele/4574212371.html This amp is actually the perfect power rating for your subwoofers, both of them actually. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/ele/4574226421.html This amp is great for speakers, 75w rms per channel! Everything is in great condition, all in perfect working order and still under manufacturer warranty, i'll sell both to you for 220 shipped, lmk i'll put this in the thread too! All comes with original boxes and packaging. Including bassknob. The r500x1d amp is perfect for your subs, the r4004d amp is good for your door and rear speakers. Of course I can sell you just the 1 amp for 110 shipped.
