Adding 8 amp component.

Where is a good place to get an 8 amp switched supply. I'd like to get power only when the key is on.

Thanks for the reply. What about under the hood? Is there a spot in the fuse box?

So is there a good spot in the fuse box? I know it seems like a simple question but I don't know what loads are already on the various buses.

Pick a circuit that meets your needs in the fuse box (i.e. constant, switched, etc) and use an Add-a-Fuse.

If you can tell us what you are trying to install, it would help locate where you would tap into the fusebox.
