Are dealer installed STRIPES still 'back ordered'
When cars come in, if you purchased a stipe package, several locally have had to wait weeks for the stripes to be shipped. Is this still the case or are they coming with the car pretty timely now?

It depends on what color of course as white and gray are put on at the factory but I have seen a few cars at dealers without stripes on them even though there window sticker says that they have them. Not an answer really just an observation.

my stripes came in 6 weeks after my car. Can't complain- they look good! Drive.... you will forget you are waiting for them!

Mine came before my car and are still in the box. I don't like the fact that they don't come onto the front clip and don't go over the rear spoiler. I will probably just get mine painted on now.

There shouldn't be any issues right now. Our last two both had the stripes at the store the day the cars landed.

MY white Camaro SS was due at the dealer today. I ordered IO rally stripes from the dealers parts dept 2 weeks age and was told that they came in last week and they are waiting for my car-No IO rally stripe backorder.
Just so you know the parts dept told me they do not stock any accessories since they are not returnable. |
