JANNETTY RACING BUILT 427 YSI MAKES 1317 HP GOES 8.99 ET 154 MPH
It has been a long 10 month build with a huge goal, and we hit that goal both on the dyno and on the track.
We wanted to make 1300 HP and go 8 seconds in a street car on a Sunday drive. Last Monday was the final dyno session that netted 1098 RWHP or 1317 crank HP. Last Friday first pass out 8.99 ET 154 MPH and backed it up with 9.04 9.02 and 9.01, all at 154 MPH After the first pass I rolled across the scale at 4265 lbs with the AC on, damn fire suits are hot. We are battling belt failures on almost every pass and we have a fix for that so expect to see a bunch more 8 second passes. Very nice. How fast are you spinning the blower if you don't mind sharing? I'm running a 8/2.75" combo and haven't had belt issues yet.

Wow! Very impressive and it's a 8 second street car? Is this in a Gen 5 and if so is that a first for Gen 5 being a full street car? I know race cars have been in the 8's, but not sure about a full weight street car.

1098rwhp through a glide gives me hope I can hit 1150rwhp through a 6 speed with my Ysi.
