I think he needs access to the whole tank, not just the hatch. Prob needs access to the other side as well.
My Livernois twin can be done from the hatch though.

I did mine on jackstands. It was no big deal. I just used a 2x6 across a floor jack to support both sides of the tank while lowering and raising it.

I would skip the LPE pumps and go straight to a squash or fore setup. The LPE can't support as much as you think.

Since you're already upping the boost, you'll need even more fuel when you decide to go even further. Might as well just fix it for good. When it's all said and done, I think the price difference is fairly close.

Fuel pump replacement WITHOUT dropping tank help
I did it on jack stands, was over half full of fuel too!
Or you could cut hole in floor and do it that way. Last edited by Caswell239; 09-17-2014 at 10:29 PM. |

So adm or lpe can be done by cutting a hole? How so? I thought this could only be done for zl1. If it can be done i can save some time during install lol

The tank should come out for best access to change both senders and the crossover line. Ted.
