Anybody near a detroit rail yard!!
Has anyone seen a fright train with a CGM 1LT CAMARO ON IT in detroit. lol. Im going crazy waiting for this car!!!
I just tracked it and from toronto it went to detroit at the interchange, on its way to jenkintown, PA. God these last days are hell. |

It is in Browntown MI...about 10 miles from me..seen a couple of Camaros listed on there 3 months ago.
Canadian National is the terminal and has the lease to the underground tunnel that connects Canada and Detroit via Detroit river. It is in SW Detroit between Bagley and 19th street. My guess, built in Canada, to Detroit area, would be CN http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18283

mine went from oshawa to dearborn. Is that a sub-burb of detroit?

Dearborn is 6 miles north of me...Closer than the Flat Rock/Brownstown hub.
Dearborn borders Detroit and direct line from the train tunnel from canada...about 5 miles as the crow flies.

Thanks for the update banshee. do the cars move out of there quick or do they tend to hang out a few days. Seems like they could have gone to NY to PA faster than detroit but if thats the tunnel then i guess thats why its there. Now its headed to baltimore, that is where the truck pics up the cars apparently.

I don't know if they move quick..I got my Camaro within 7 days of shipping. I say maybe 10 days after you got your vin.
