Who has curbed their passenger side wheels?

I have curbed my stock RS wheel going through an ATM on the passenger side and yesterday I got a tiny chip on my newer wheels from barely touching the curb parking once again on the passenger side.

Anyone else curb the passenger side??

2nd time that I went to my bank, it happened to me, barely touched. A little touch up paint and all is well.

I haven't curbed my passenger side but I curbed my rear driver side wheel pretty badly. Took a chunk out of the rim and a small gouge on the sidewall of my tire. I hit a corner curb and my tire came down on the edge of the curb.

I curbed my wheels the day after I bought the car when I was pulling in to get my insurance all up to date.

So far, so good...and if I did, I'm rollin' on my "heritage wheels" anyway.

Like my feet, I prefer durable boots to fancy suede shoes...so I'd rather have wheels that I don't mind being so close to the road :/

(edit: I do realize the benefit of lowering my unsprung weight, I just like what I got).

I thought I did, but got just the tire instead. I was exiting a very steep ramp that curves sharply upward and to the right at the same time. With the hood pointed in the air, it makes it tough to see where I was steering and where the curbs were. Normally I'd point the passenger mirror at the rear tire, but thought I had this licked already. Turned just a bit too tight and dragged the right rear tire on the curb just as I was exiting.

Turned out to be just a light rub mark on the tire. Looking at the curb, it looks like people have actually dragged their entire car over it before, so I don't feel *too* bad, although it makes me feel like a dunce because I've driven professionally in a past job and running over curbs, etc is a big no-no with a 34,000lb truck.
