Anyone heard of painted stripes? My concern with vinyl is that in AZ, my stripes arent going to last that long and I dont have the cash to have them painted on.

That's wild, ajp, but aren't standard high quality 2 mil vinyl stripes on horizontal surfaces guaranteed for that long? And consider, vinyl is easily replaced....maybe with a new color choice next time. Your call.

I'm getting my GM matte Rally Vinyl Stripes redone and being replaced with Painted and Clear-Coated on ..We were going to go with the longer (past the hood) and thinner stripes but due to the "Clear-Bra" I have on my front Full fascia that would not work so I'm just going with the same factory look Rally Stripes but Painted and Clear-Coated on (I do not have the "Clear Bra" on the hood)..

They will also wrap it over the back part of the hood (starting by the front windshield) and also wrap over the back part of the truck (by the back window) which the Factory Vinyl Rally Stripes don't do on both ends..
The other reason I also went for the Factory look Rally Stripes is that I know how they would look on the car already ( but Painted On ) and that they will look nice and glossy plus last a lot longer then the GM Matte Vinyl Rally Stripes would.

Should be done by Thursday ! !

You can not clear coat and buff out matte/flat stripes. They will look glossy then...
