6 months later with same issue

So let me recap.

I have taken my car in several times, called chevy support and they scheduled with the same dealer for my car to stay a week for a thorough inspection. Took the manager with me to replicate the issue and even he heard it. 1 week later got it back and... "We could not find the issue".

Whatever maybe its not a big deal. 6 months later the issue has gotten progressively worse. I now have a messed up strut bar which I took my car in to get this addressed and once again they give me the "We could not find the issue" and I was like man.. take the car over a bump you'll see how the right side jumps like crazy. Guy tells me I can take the manager with me to show him and im like man ive been through this before.

I took my concern to Chevy and 72 hours later no response. I'm just so frustrated and now I have been advised maybe a Lemon law might need to be claimed. What should I do now. Any advice?

It sucks, dude! Send a PM to William at Chevy Cust. Service and request him to set you up with a DIFFERENT dealer. He's pretty good at replying quickly.

Ya I would create a new post in your local state thread on this site asking for advice on good dealerships. Drive an hour if you have to. At least then you know someone trustworthy is looking at your car.

OP. take it to another dealer. and leave it with a request for a rental car while its being fixed. i can imagine your frustration, but i bet the right dealer will get you fixed up. you have a nice car, its the dealer thats broken. good luck!

Sounds to me like a weld may be broken that they may not have caught if it is progressively getting worse and you have one side jumping around. I would have it looked at by a top notch body shop closely. And then go back to the dealer when you get another opinion of what may be wrong

Ive said it before, the dealer isn't always the best place to go, find a good tech you trust and stick with them. Have a tech at an a non dealer shop diag the problem for you and then take that info to the dealer if its a warranty issue.

I would get the Bureau of Automotive Repair involved. My neahew has a brand new Dodge pickup, automatic that would make a clunk noise everytime he put it in drive. He had it to the dealer 4 times, and they said it was normal. It started getting worse going from drive to nutral when driving. He contacted B. A. R. they scheduled a day and time for the truck to be there at the dealership. They racked the truck, Mopar mechanic started to disassemble the transmission with the B A R guy there. The trans was wasted. He made the dearler replace the whole trans with a new one.
You definetly want to get them involved before you lemmon law it.
