Dynolicious 1/4 time 12.43 time accurate?
So Ive got an m6 2010 camaro with vararam intake, and muffler delete, those are the only mods. I downloaded the dynolicious app and ran a few times. Well are these time accurate? I live in florida (it was actually cool) and i ran them on a private road not on the street! I go out there often and i have my clutch slip perfected and was impressed with my 0-60 and 1/4 time.... but are they accurate?..... Plus I have the phone lodged in cup holder and console so it doesn't move... i know the phone can't move during that time.

Street tires as well?
Sorry but Im extremely doubtful at least on the first one. The second is possible. But then look at the speed its saying. 12.96 @68.5 something is a little off

Ya street tires... I wasn't trying to run 1/4th mile just 0-60 on the first one so I let off the gas at the end (you see on the chart I let off the gas) but Ya I was pretty doubtful too.

What is going to be very different is the condition of the road you were on compared to a dragstrip.
Drapstrip is very slick so tires that are not drag tires that get sticky tend to spin much more. On an asphalt road I can get a good start too without much slipping but I know the track is going to be very hard not to spin with stock tires.

Oh, sorry for asking such a stupid question...... The closest track near here is about 4 hours away so .... Although I do plan on taking it to the track I just have a hard time justifying $200 on 2 passes... But ya I'm sorry for making it miserable for asking if the app is actually reliable.......

Yes 4 hours is a day trip to go to the track. I would run the app when you do go to the track and compare the results. I look forward to the results.

The time range is plausible, but the MPH is not.
I was running 12.5x-12.6x @ 111-112mph in an LS3/M6 car with only a CAI, and HFC's, both of which I built myself, DynoMax axleback and a hackjob X pipe in the exhaust on street tires, stock tune. Like I said, plausible, but it will most likely come down to your driving ability, weather, and track prep |
