Anyone in the West Palm Beach Area of FL, wanting to change to Metal Pedals???

I found a great place in West Palm Beach Florida that makes custom Pedals. They have yet been able to get a Camaro to measure. I was going to work with them and email measurements, which they are fine with they do custom work all the time this way, but I do not want to waste too much time going back and forth.

If anyone really wants to change out their pedals and lives in the area, i was hoping someone can let them measure their car. That way they can see and measure the curvature and get a perfect fitting pedal that us Cam5 members will be proud of. They offer a great variety of pedal kits for older Camaro's with Brake and clutch pedal prices in the $50-$90 range for both pedals. They also do custom engraving. Really cool stuff.

There is nothing special to be had hear except helping fellow members out getting more products to market. They are supposed to eventually get measurements from a local dealer with a car coming in, but I am trying to push it along. No Freebies, just a helping hand.

No flaming about freebies, I approached them because I wanted to get a set of peddles without waiting. Otherwise they will do the R&D their way and it will take time..................no more waiting, I waited long enough for the car.

IMO the G8 pedal modification first done by TeccBoxx and followed by others including myself is a better, less expensive option http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32634. My post on this thread has the GM instructions for the kit.

http://www.gmpartsdirect.com sells the automatic G8 accelerator and brake cover - part # 92214916 for $69.16, list is $95, plus shipping. The thread above has the manual pedal cover part numbers.

See this other thread with my experience with Ultimate Pedals http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29776. I would've paid $180 for the accelerator and brake pedals alone.

As always do what you like best - I'm just giving my opinion. Also be sure of the underlying brake pedal and how the accelerator pedal is designed to be sure your pedal mod will work without much hassle. Good luck.

Yea, Thanks I saw that thread. They are OK for Stock pedals and pretty much what came stock in my Sky Redline.

I am looking for a higher end solid metal pedal. Here is just one of his many options........Top Quality! And still reasonably priced. He also sells Heal to Toe Pedals and engraves.........Really Sweet options available.


I just read what you said. I talked to the owner. They are a custom pedal place that does work for ALL car makes and models as ordered. I talked to the owner and understand his situation. He knows there is a market for them so he had planned on hooking up with a Camaro at a local dealer, but it will be a while before one comes in he can work with. I have no problem helping him and my fellow Camaro owners by being the first guy. I just think the final result will be better if he took live measurements. Could he give the first guy a break............if you look at it from the standpoint that he is the manufacturer of custom pedals and not a reseller of mass produced product than.....No. He is custom making you a set of pedals that do not exist right now. It is that simple. I will be working with him if I cannot find someone local in a reasonable amount of time. I have the patience and want a nice set of custom pedals for my baby.

Again, I appreciate the feedback and what you did is a big improvement, just not what I want.

WOW, That is like a 4 hour drive. If you are still interested, PM me. I wouldn't expect anyone to do that far of a drive. Unless you are looking for an excuse to break in.

Coming from a product designer/Machinist the have shady business tactics. They need to give the first person to help them with dimensions some type of discount.

Now with that said, I would be willing to send them the rubber boot and G8 pedal to them if they will give the guys here on Camaro5 a discount.

Thanks anyway. I have to disagree with the "shady business practice" comment. They are in the business of custom pedals. You send them measurements, they make the parts. If they already happen to have measurements then you luck out. Their peddles would be under $200 for the gas Brake and Clutch, depending on what design you pick.......Very reasonable to me.

Again, I knew a lot of people where going to feel that way, hence why I wrote please no flaming. I am willing to work with the guy to buy CUSTOM peddles for my Camaro, if you are not local, I will do the work myself to get what I want. Guess what, you will all benefit from my legwork and I am fine with that. I will do my bit for king and country. I was hoping a local guy can have them measure to get the perfect pedal bend on the first shot.

Due to previous inquiries, they went to the local dealer, but it will be a while before they get inventory. I am just trying to move the process along.........it is that simple.

Any news about this, i really hate the lack of aftermarket metal pedals for my manual SS

While shady may be too strong a word I'd say I was disappointed that they:

1) told me they'd be just like the Corvette pedals so order Corvette versions but indicate for 2010 Camaro
2) charged my credit card immediately, not at shipment as most vendors do
3) then after a day or so asked for pictures of the pedals which I promptly emailed
4) after receiving said they're different than the Corvette and would I trace my pedals, send to them, they'd send back a CAD template which I should hold-up to ensure fit (as I'd be responsible if they didn't fit) and did not offer a discount for my help in designing their 2010 Camaro stock pedals. WHile they make custom pedals they turn those custom orders into pedal offer listings available to other "customers" on their web-site - so not all "custom build to order" they may "make to order from previous templates provided" - custom is a matter of subjectivity I guess.
5) Said if they went to a chevrolet dealer to take measurements I'd pay more - this is called product development and applied across all orders, not Job#1
6) were slow to process refund to my credit card.

SO shady, no - lazy, well if the shoe or should I say pedal fits, they can wear it...

As TeccBoxx indicated I thought to send them the rubber brake pad/G8 accelerator arm left over from my g8 pedal mod but as they didn't go out of their way for me I didn't bother. Also, having seen the Accelerator arm I really wonder how a metal pedal will affix to the molded plastic pedal on the arm...
