has anyone just got a simple exhaust cut-out on their v6 ?

so I have the v6 of course. I've had a 2002 trans-am ram air and a 2002 camaro SS and as far as exhausts go all i did was get the exhaust cut-out by flo-tech (basically open headers right before the mufflers) and they sounded loud and badass. so I'm thinking of doing the same for my '10 camaro. has anyone done this to their v6 ?
