winter tire and wheel package
Hello there,
Thanks for your interest in my posting. I have for sale a nearly new complete set of wheels with snow tires. I bought these and used them for around months. As you will see from the pics, they even still have some of the little nubs on the tread. These are Rial wheels, anthracite in color (kinda a matte black. A little sheen). The tires are Pirelli Scorpions, which are some of the best snow tires on the market. The rim size is 18" and the tires are 245/55/18. These were put on my 2011 Camaro SS 2SS. In spite of what you may read elsewhere, these WILL fit over the SS brembo brakes with a very easy and minor modification. As mentioned, I've had them on my car. Of course, these will also fit other Camaro models and very likely will fit other Chevy models with the same bolt pattern. The 18" diameter wheels will go through the snow much better than the larger 20" tires/wheels. These are all mounted, balanced and include tpms sensors for air pressure, already installed. They are ready to bolt on and drive you through the snow. As mentioned, I used these on my Camaro, which is modded with around 440rwhp and it is a stick shift. I had ZERO trouble getting through snow. These tires hook great in snow and if you've never used snow tires, the difference is unbelievable. You absolutely can drive your Camaro in snow, if need be. Now, that isn't for everyone, but if you're looking and in need and have questions, let me know. I am only selling them because I have two other cars now and have no need to drive my Camaro in the winter. Feel free to give me a call with questions. $1,000 takes them away. I paid almost $1700 and like I said, they are nearly new. I'm not particularly looking for trades, but a good drum set might spike my interest. These in trade toward a blower package? Maybe a motorcycle? I don't know. Other than that, no harm in letting me know what you have. No junk or things in need of repair. I'm not much interested in shipping, but am willing to drive reasonable distances to meet for drop off for confirmed buyers. If you have questions, Last edited by owensmat; 03-01-2015 at 08:49 AM. |

Yeah, I get that and to each their own. I can tell you though, from my perspective, once I got down there and saw that rollerskate thingy, I thought, wth is that mess. I cut mine off in about a minute. I've driven my car now for about 10,000 miles with them off and have noticed zero difference. I'm not trying to push a sale, because I'll just keep them, but if the concern you have is about potential chatter, myself and others have said the same. It seems to make no difference.
