You gonna have the dealer do the install?

Talked to 3 Chevy dealers here , and they wouldn't even discuss the install, just said no we do not do that. Gonna have a local speed shop do it.

I'd say gears would give you the biggest pull off the line.

You do realize a brand new rear end is 1406.00 and then you could do the work your self! 800 labor plus 400 parts plus tax 109.00..
BTW if you have real GMPP gears and a dealer will not install you can report them they are supposed to be able to install all the part from that catalog. The deal was that 90% of the parts in the catalog were not going to void the warranty and be warrantied if a dealer installed them. I'd like to know how it turns out... A lot people say don't do it, first Gear will be useless.. but my friends 1LE (with pfadt headers, Night fury cam, and cold air inductions CAI and metal channeler for the cai) is pretty awesome I have been in his car several times... from a roll around 55 to 60 he has beaten a GT-R, Audi R8 v10, and another camaro with LS9 cam and CNC heads with my big ass 300lb in it. I want to switch to a 1LE rear end, but then I heard that the Transmission is geared different aswell anyone can verify this? Last edited by EDFHOBBIES; 10-28-2014 at 06:55 AM. |
