I really want to tint my windows, looking for that blacked out sinister look, but I am hesitant because I don't want any tickets

. Should I spend the money and go with the 20% tints? how much would this cost? and is it worth it??

Yes you should do it and yes it's worth it. If you live in a sunny state they tend to be more lenient. I have 15% and have never been pulled over or ticketed for tint. I do know some states are extremely strict though (used to live in PA and DE and you can't do the front windows at all there). I think cost is probably $200-250.

Absolutely! You need to go dark. My car is the carbon flash metallic and it looks awesome tinted dark. Hey you can always put the window down if you see cops. I have a sun roof with a cover that I keep closed but if I open it my windows don't look as dark. You need to do it! You'll wonder what it would've looked like if you don't.

I got 20% all around, looks good and I don't find it too dark from the inside. Was on the fence and thinking of 35% for the doors but glad I went with 20%.

Thanks Guys! I was thinking about just doing the passenger windows but now you have me thing of doing all of them 20%

I paid 180 for the "carbon" tint at 20%. Where do you live?

I've got 7% on my CFM 45th AE. I live in Oklahoma and have never been pulled over for tint and it has never been brought up when I was pulled over for other violations (twice in the last 10 years).

One thing though...Do your LEO a favor and if you get pulled over while tinted, drop your windows. It will set them at ease more if they can clearly view the inside of the vehicle and they will secretly be appreciative.

Im getting 20% all around Friday. $120. These windows are small. I wouldnt pay much more than that.

Anyone know if cars sold in Texas already have the Windows tinted? Also what is the legal limit there.

I have 20% all around except windshield. I got pulled over once and the cop didn't even notice the tint, though he could have definitely given me a fix-it ticket. In CA it's not legal
I wish I would've gone darker though.
I paid $130 for lifetime tint, that's about as cheap as you can get it here for decent tint. I paid $90 on a 2000 Focus and no warranty, bubbles everywhere looks terrible. Don't be cheap

Rollin 20% all around with 35% on windshield. No issues yet but in FL everyone has tints. Depends where you live I guess

I got 5% all around and 20% on the windshield now (in in Phoenix, so they don't really care it seems like.. no tickets) and it makes my black ss look a billion times better man, I get compliments on it all the time at shows.. you'll be happy with tinted windows
