Questions about ccfl halos.
So I bought some new headlights for my wife's Avalanche and they have ccfl halos. What I want to know is if those can be changed out for RGB halos and if so is it very hard?

wrong forum see "Tahoe Yukon Forum". Lots of discussion on headlight modification, generally thought that any modifications are detrimental to visibility. Ask on there and you will get plenty of response.

CCFL is a very different technology than LEDs.
Simple answer is no.

Well i realize that I could go to another forum but I ask on this one because I was thinking about getting a set for my camaro and I normally get the best answers on this site. But this is the first time that I got smart ass comment from someone. So if it's so detrimental to visibility then why does everyone change their halos. Thanks for the info everyone .

In the wonderful world of auto modification, where there's a will, there's a way, just have to find the right parts and installer to make it happen. CCFL are not the same as LED. If the light has a CCFL ring, I'm sure it can be swapped out for LED or fiber optic, just my thoughts
