Keep my 2013 camaro ss or buy 2015 stingray??

Hello,
I am in a fortunate but frustrating situation in terms of my 2015 sports car plans.
I currently own a 2013 camaro ss as you can all see with the following mods in my sig.
I have installed all mods myself and have spent thousands of dollars.
The car will be completely PAID OFF in march 2015.
I now have enough money aside to either buy a good set of wheels and do a cam package with heads on this car in the spring OR buy a 2015 Corvette Stingray.

I will definitely take a hit on my car's resale.

What would you guys do??

If money was no issue? Stingray without a doubt.

Sounds like you actually have your mind made up already. Only you know what your financial situation is.

I think you need to lay out all the factors.

My son is 1.5 and my wife is expecting our second in April. If we have a boy, I am keeping the SS as I know I will have two little ones who will want to ride in the car and go to car shows with me. A supercharger will prob be slapped on as the plan will be to keep this car for atleast 10 years. My son even at his young age is already obsessed with the Camaro. If we have a girl, then the SS is going to be traded in on a Stingray in about 2 years when the used market starts seeing some low mileage gems previously owned by men with grey hair!

good luck with your decision

I like sitting up a tad bit higher and having back seat for extra room, but I would go with the stingray if I could afford it. Good problem to have

Keep the 13' and pay it off. Then you wont take as much of a hit on it.

I'd like to know where you can get a 2015 Stingray for the same price as wheels, and a heads and cam package...

Stingray, unless you're too tall for it, which I unfortunately am.

Key freakin point....
If any of you on here have not sat in one of these new Corvettes, take the time to do it. They are TINY. Not only is height an issue, but if you have any width to you at all, see how you feel when the car door is closed and you find yourself leaning over the console.

I don't think OP said could do for same price. Just said he could do either.
If money & heighth aren't an issue go for the C7

I love Vettes, but I didn't buy my Camaro because I couldn't afford a Corvette. I like my Camaro more. I don't understand why everyone thinks the Camaro is a poor man's Corvette. If you want a sports car, buy the Vette. It you want a Pony/Muscle car (which I do), then keep the Camaro. Two different markets really, even though they are both performance cars.

So, my answer is I would modify the Camaro.

These are two very different cars, so which do you actually like?
