Any pilots here?

I know there are a few but how many? From military or airline to glider or even hot air balloon!

CamaroC17 is the only one I have seen so far. Judging by the number of Mustangs, Vettes, and Camaros at every airport I go to there are many more here!

I haven't flown in years, however my dad was a flight instructor.

I soloed gliders at 14, and flew single and double engine planes up until I was 21 as a student pilot.

Over the years, I've spent a LOT of time flying Microsoft Flight Simulator as well as many other GOOD military flight simulations. It's not flying the real thing, however it can be a good substitute as well with the proper equipment.

I currently love flying the A-10C Warthog simulation I have in DCS World, including using the correct Stick, Thottle Control and Pedals.

DCS also has other expansions. The P51D one is pretty cool. I just started playing around with the F15-C simulator.

I have a Microsoft Force Feedback controller as well that is more generic, however I'd love to get the proper sticks for the F15-C as well. I could probably adapt some of the buttons/switches on the HOTAS for the A-10 to the F15 by remapping...just might be a little weird.

The DCS World app is pretty amazing, and the detail in preflight and beyond is excellent, as far as the switches & guages.

I'm not a pilot but I work in IT and provided the FAA a list of felons to revoke their airman certifications. Not sure what good that is going to do since felons will probably fly without a license anyways....

I started as a rotor student but realized that a 14yr old cannot afford that. I also did gliders and never took that checkride. Luckily I am a powered fixed wing guy now, finishing a restricted Commercial.

I have noticed our aviation community has five cars: Jeeps, Mustangs, Corvettes, Camaros and Mini Coopers. The occasional BMW for the Cirrus or Lancair owner is around too.
