Hi everyone!

I guess I signed up here last year and forgot. I've checked this site out occasionally but never posted anything until today.

I have a '13 1LS I picked up in Mayt '13. It's Blue Ray Metallic with Cyber Gray Metallic Stripes. I just passed the 10,000 mile mark yesterday. So far it's been great. I'm so glad I I got the Manual (Although it has gotten me a ticket for spinning wheels/drifting through a left turn

-NO POINTS on license though

)

I put in the order in April '13 on the last day possible. About a month before that it wasn't even remotely an idea in my head.

I go down to the Detroit Auto Show every year. In March I was going through pictures in my camera and saw one my uncle took of me in a Camaro. "I could see having one of those someday" is what I thought. So I went on to GM's website and found out they start at just over $20K. I thought they would start at around $30K. I did the math and figured the payment wouldn't be too crazy.

A couple of weeks later I saw the debut of the '14 design online and that kind of made my decision. I don't hate the '14, I just like the '10-'13 styling better.

Next stop the dealer. It was a crappy, cold, windy, threatening to rain type day. I was out front just looking over the Camaros on the lot. I was kind of surprised that someone even bothered to come out to speak with me. She was a very nice middle-aged lady.
I came there expecting to have to deal with annoying salesperson BS, but everything went very good. I don't think ordering/buying the car could have gone more smoothly. GM Emp. Family disc., and $1000 promotion helped too.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
