New rock chips and ding ugh, how many do you have?

I was driving in the left lane down the 408 yesterday when I came up upon one of those trucks hauling a big brown construction dumpster on the back in the center lane.
As I got closer I noticed a bunch of marble sized stones spilling somewhere off the back of the truck and bouncing down the road everywhere behinde it.

I was like shit, so I nailed to get past the truck fast as possible and avoid any damage. Not fast enough though, I heard what sounded like a small round hit the roof of my car. When I got a chance to get out of the car and look I found a small ding and two fingernail tip size paint chips in the center of the roof just a inch above the windshield.

It's a daily driver, I know this kind of thing is going to happen and I bought the car to drive it and enjoy it first and foremost, Trust me these are not the only chips and dings. But it always sucks none the less when it happens. My saving grace is silver cars are very forgiving, the color does a good job hiding most of the damage.

I am sure you guys got plenty of war stories too.

Mine came with a few chips from the previous owner in TX. What can you do, I bought it this year it was a 2012 with only 12k miles for way below the original sticker price.
I have OCD when it comes to this kinda stuff but I had to over look a few little imperfections for what I was getting for the money.

I must be lucky, on my 2010 I only got one in 2 1/2 years and 27,000 miles. And on my 2012 I haven't found any on it in close to 2 1/2 years and 23,000 miles.

I have several rock chips on the front bumper and I have a door ding from my friends camaro door hitting mine. I'm going to be getting my car entirely paint corrected and ding fixed and then getting it wrapped in the spring.

I have plenty on my D/D for the last four years. I drive 30 miles a day on the freeway (I-75). This morning a truck in front of me thru a lighted cig butt out his window. I am sure that left a mark. What are ash trays for??

Love our Camaros color. Silver Barely shows swirls or scratches or dents and looks clean even when dirty as hell. I was pleasantly surprised.

Is it a daily driver? I see cars with clearbras all the time and yet I've never seen one without any dents, rock chips, scratches, etc. Rock chips usually go right through the clear bras that I've seen
