2010 2LT high pitch sound when cold

I have been searching around for a few days and can't find a reason, or solution, to this sound I hear.

Since the temperature got cold, I have been hearing a high pitched, whining, sound coming from the engine compartment. I haven't noticed if it gets quieter as the vehicle warms or not, but it doesn't go away.

anyone else have this problem, or know what it is.

Doesn't seem to have any change in power or function, just curious if I need to be freaking out.

Came here looking for the same answer - has only been happening a week or so, and goes away once it's warmed up.

Record the noise. Belts and pulleys are often much louder when cold and first starting up in the morning, but nobody can give you a definitive answer without hearing the noise

I'm having the same problem. I thought I was crazy or something. Mine comes from the passenger side and sounds like a CD spinning. Also came here looking to solve this issue!
