Cam Upgrade Choice?
My car is currently in the shop due to a damaged Valve lifter and it has seem to damaged my cam. I bought the car used and the cam was already installed so im not sure what type of cam i have right now but the shop says its a heavy cam for sure. Since i have to get a new one anyways i just wanted to know what is a good heavy cam to go with? I seen post about the Night Fury and the LG-G6X3 and both sounds nice but i haven't seen numbers. What do every one think??? Thanks for the help.
Current Performance Upgrades: TSP 1 7/8 Long Tube Headers without Cats SLP Loud Mouth Vs 1 V-Max Ported Throttle Body Ported Heads Heavy Cam ( unknown make/model ) Lingenfelter Max Clutch And I am think im leaving some stuff out since i cant remember lol. |

Whoever you choose, make sure their cores come from a reliable source like Cam Motion. A quality product that lasts & has a 99.9% accuracy rate on how the cam is cut & QC'd. Good luck. |

I'm currently running a Cam motion Titan VI in my car. Makes 400 torque at 2k rpms and climbs to 444tq and pretty much flatlines almost the entire rpm band. Nightfury is another excellent choice. It all depends on your driving habits and what you want from the car.
