ECS-YSi intercooler/ADM-Performance trans cooler mounting question

I have about 1/8-3/8" clearance between the condenser and intercooler and the top of the intercooler is fronted by the trans cooler with little more than 1/8" spacing as well....

sorry about pic orientation Ooops.

All 3 have large direct airflow surface area but is the spacing between them to small?

Has any any played with other remote locations for the trans cooler? Saw one rear mounted but it had a fan unlike my ADM...

That's a creative way to place the cooler. Don't worry too much about the spacing. The cold Canadian air will just pass right through. I think it's good that you have the bottom of the intercooler exposed since the air travels through the bottom more so than the top.

Closer together is better from a turbulence standpoint although some of those pics look like its touching which would be very bad. Fins + vibration = leak
Make sure that isn't happening.

They aren't touching as I have rubber bumpers stuck in between them at the closest points... But it feel like I should move the trans cooler to some where out back as this seems a little too confined and was wondering how bad it will affect intake temps.

About to have stainless lines made so looking for other options first on the rans cooler location or mount type.

My trans cooler is mounted facing down under the front of car with a small wind deflector to force air up thru it.

For the ECS kit we usually locate a B&M Hi-Tek in the fender well with a custom bracket underneath passenger headlight.. OR what works really well is the stock C6Z/GS DS oil cooler, you can mount it under the front bumper support and it goes across the entire front. We use this a lot especially for the swap trans cars (4L80E/TH400).

For more space I removed the ADM trans cooler kit and swap ed it for a Flex-a-lite cooler with stainless lines and russel adapters on the hardlines by the pulley. No metal on metal 1 inch clearness between each.... cooler, intercooler, condenser and radiator.
