concered about my height w/ sunroof

ok ive read many places that the height with a sunroof is a big problem... even tho many members on here have said that they are 6'5 more and fit fine with a sunroof.... other places i read say if ur anything 6 foot or above, then you will not fit with a sunroof

i am 6'3... 6'4 with shoes... and i already ordered with a sunroof and its been produced already so to late to change my mind...

what im asking is those who are my height or above, HOW COMFORTABLE is it... and do you need to be leaning ALLLLL the way back as if ur practically laying down at the beach?

your overall height is not the important part here, it's how long your toroso is, waist up. If you have really long legs but a short torso then no problem. I am 5'11 and my head hits the roof unless the seat is lowered all the way and even then my hair can brush the roof. So the only way to check is for you to go sit in one and try it out, your overall height won't matter.

I'm also just under 6'. I drive my SS with sunroof with the seat all the way back and down. I don't think I have more than an inch or two roof clearance. I think as big a problem for anyone over 6foot 2or3 would be getting in and out of a Camaro- It's tight. You have to remember though, this is not a family sedan.
I wouldn't trade my Camaro for anything and I think the sunroof is a must. I don't open mine, I just let the sunshine in on my beautiful Inferno orange seats.

I am 6'2" - sat in one on Monday with a sunroof - plenty of room for me - several inches above my head.

Just depends on your torso and how you are comfortable in the seat. I am 6' 3" and have a longer torso and wasn't comfortable with having a sunroof. Best bet is to find one in your area that has a sunroof and go sit in it.

I'm 6'3" but with a really long torso. I wouldn't have been able to fit in one with a sunroof.

I am 6' 2", long torso and I have to put my seat all the way to the ground and it leaves me about 1 maybe 2" of head room. So I fit, but it may be close for you. Like they already said, all depends on your height from waist up. You may end up being just fine. I also keep my seat back pretty vertical, if I layed it back a bit more it would increase headroom. The first couple weeks I had my car I was playing with the seat position everytime I drove it. After about 1k miles I had it all figured out and I am very comfortable now. Good Luck...

Yeah, I'd call around and find a dealership with a Camaro with a sunroof and go check it out.

I'm 6'3'' and have a pretty long torso. When I sit on the passenger side my hair touches the top of the roof (and I don't have a sunroof). The driver side seat can be adjusted down lower than the passenger seat, so I have good amount of room ( 1'' or so) on the driver side.

But if I had the sunroof, I'm pretty sure my head would be rubbing the roof on the driver side, and I wouldn't even be able to sit in the passenger seat without bending my head to the side.

I ended up deleting the sunroof from my order because I was too nervous I wouldn't fit. The reality is, I would have been able to have pulled it off by adjusting the seat a little more...btw, I'm 6'4, 220.

I'm 5'7" keep the seat all the way down and the seat angled, I only have about two fingers worth of room ... yes, I'm really tall when I sit down.... LOL. Just have to wear shorts all the time.

I am 5'9" and with the seat all the way down and sitting upright in a comfortable position, I have about a finger width until I touch the roof. If you are 6' the only way for you to fit is to have the seat back leaning backward a bit. NOT A TALL CAR. It's almost like it was meant for ME at 5'9"!

I am 6'3" and passed on the sunroof option. I fit but my hair brushed the top. Really bugs!! How often do you use a sunroof anyway? I think I have opened the one in my 2500 LTZ about 3 times in 1 1/2 years.... Forget about it.....

6ft and don't have the seat all the way down.

Buddy of mine has the same car just a different color and he is 6'6'' and fits just fine with the seat all the way down and back.
